Notes

Play Poles are a set of interactive outdoor artefacts designed as an Internet of Things resource to support children’s free play. Developed through a design ethnography with a community centre, the Poles provide simple, transparent functions and direct real-time control, enabling groups of children to appropriate them creatively within existing outdoor games and social play.
