Cable Lamp was formed directly from discarded electrical cables wrapped around a used wine bottle. The cables were heated to create a moulded body, after which the lamp was wired and made functional. The structure of the object is determined entirely by the power cable itself, foregrounding the mechanical components that typically remain hidden. Don’t worry, the main electrical cable runs into the lamp body and not around it.
